- Setup completed.
Important Notes:
- All settings are stored "server side", meaning our servers keep the master copy of all settings and they are cached to the local Backup Manager. Each time the Backup Manager opens, it fetches the current account profile from our server.
- Because of how settings are only cached, please make sure to only have 1 instance of Backup Manger open at a time. This applies to both on a single PC and for ALL PC's utilizing the same backup account. Otherwise, it is possible to overwrite setting changes back to the server when closing each Backup Manager.
- When adding multiple computers to the same backup account. Be sure to create a new backupset for each computer. It is extremely easy to mess up the settings for other backupsets by installing on more than 1 computer and adjusting the settings without first creating a new backupset specific to that computer. Further, each time ANY of the settings are changed, be sure to FIRST select the corresponding backupset from the drop-down list at the top of the settings screen.
- Re-Read the 3 notes above as they are actually very important and easy to mess up... even for those who think they know everything.
